"We retained the services of Excel Plumbing to provide full construction and advisory services for the plumbing, domestic hot water and in-floor heating system and boilers at our new 8,000 + square foot home.
The plumbing system was complex and included integration with the Variable Speed well system, in ground irrigation system, and a recirculating system to ensure instant hot water to second floor washrooms. Plumbing fixtures were state of the art unique fixtures supplied by the Owner, including ultra low flow water closets, and a combination of copper, quartz and stainless indoor and outdoor fixtures.
The in-floor heating system was also complex including two redundant boilers, Wirsbo in-floor heating piping, integrated floor and air temperature controls, and complete integration with a separate Trane air conditioning and back up heating system. Each system was interlocked.
Excel Plumbing provided all of the expertise required for installation and seamlessly worked in conjunction with our project manager and professional engineering team. Excel's professional staff worked alongside other trades on site and were fully integrated into the construction overall team.
Over the course of this two year construction project, each and every time when we made inquiries or requests of Excel Plumbing, they responded immediately and came up with solutions to both technical and coordination issues that arose on the project.
